About Plankley
Plankley helps you work out how much to buy for a DIY job: litres of paint, bags of concrete, tonnes of gravel, packs of flooring and more. Every calculator shows its formula and the typical figures it starts from, and you can change any of them.
How we work
- Every calculator uses the same engine and shows the working, so you can check the sum yourself.
- The figures we start from (coverage, densities, pack sizes and waste allowances) are typical planning values or our own allowances. Each one is listed with its source on the calculator page and on our methodology page.
- We don't test products, and we never say we have.
How we make money
